In a quick text chat with a dear friend last night (hi, Trudi!) she pointed out to me that the calendar on the iPad has a tab to touch so that you can quickly surf ahead a few years … but the iPhone does not.
So what to do?
You may not be able to jump years on the iPhone calendar, but you can fly through the months.
Just touch the “forward” arrow and hold. Don’t lift your finger, just leave it there, holding on that arrow.
You will move quickly to whatever year-of-the-future that you need.
