I forget what I spent on my iPhone case. Not too much. I like it. I don’t plan to change it anytime soon.
But if you are looking for a new case, and you happen to be made of money, you might be interested in a case made of gold.
Really? Really.
This isn’t a plated case. It is made of solid metal. The gold version contains 75g of gold. There is also a 100g platinum version.
Your phone, your choice. This case will set you back anywhere from $11,610 to $14,235.
The line forms here, at Brikk.

/ February 27, 2013Thanks. I was wondering where to get one or two of those.
On second thought, I’m happy with mine, but a girl can dream.
sharechair
/ February 27, 2013Perhaps one of each?
Trudi

/ February 27, 2013Oh you have got to be kidding me!!!! I need to meet some of these people that have that type of money to through around
sharechair
/ February 27, 2013Hard to believe, huh. Think of all the critters you could feed with the cash for one case!

/ February 27, 2013That’s crazy!! I’m showing this post to my husband. Comparatively speaking, I’m very frugal
sharechair
/ February 27, 2013oooo… good idea!
The Laughing Housewife
/ February 27, 2013That’s obscene. Some people just have too much money.
sharechair
/ February 27, 2013I wonder if they sold any.
The Laughing Housewife

/ February 27, 2013I’m perfectly happy to know that some people can actually afford something like this, but it’s sad to know that they don’t have better sense. I just KNOW if I ever strike it rich (I’m always hoping), I can find much better ways of spending my money. I’m happy with my chartreuse vinyl case. I love chartreuse. Maybe I’d spend my money traveling where there is plenty of chartreuse, and other shades of green. Ireland? Wales? Yorkshire? Scotland? Oooh, Scotland…plenty of green, AND men in kilts!! That would be fun. Yeah, travel, books…heck, an entire library!…maybe my own island? Ooooh, so many things. And nary a solid gold iPhone case among them!
sharechair
/ February 27, 2013I’m with you. I can think of a LOT of ways to spend that money, and a gold case is not among them.
cindy knoke
/ February 27, 2013do you know how to buy it online using nerfarious methods? ie., not paying? I bet you do! That would be such a popular post! You could always respond to comments while incarcerated with me and Lindsay Lohan!!!!

/ February 27, 2013Ouch! I can’t go to jail! I heard they don’t have chocolate or wine. Not for me.
Alastair
/ February 27, 2013Think I’ll get two – one as a spare
sharechair
/ February 27, 2013Why stop at two? I’m sure your children would like one, also.
Alastair
/ February 27, 2013True. Get them a couple each as well
carolynpageabc
/ February 27, 2013Oh, I’ll have two, Kathy…
Haha… I just noticed Alastair said the same…
Good thinking to Alastair. However, your reply is indeed generous…!

/ February 27, 2013Now you, dear Carolyn, I can picture with one of these. Listening to your voice… it suits you!
