If you are not familiar with TED, you should be

Screen shot 2013-08-08 at 6.54.55 PMI could tell you what TED stands for (Technology, Education, Design) and I could tell you when it started (back in 1984) and I could tell you blah blah blah …. but I won’t.

That’s because you don’t need to know the background to enjoy TED today.

Prepare to be wowed.

Just download the app and dive in.

Simply put, TED is packed with loads of fascinating people telling us about fascinating things. You’ll find topics that interest you immediately and topics that are completely new to you. These Talks offer you a chance to expand your mind, and explore new directions you never even imagined.

The TED tagline says it best: Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world

These are the kind of lectures and presentations that you would consider yourself lucky if you were to attend one or two in your lifetime. But here, on TED, you have the opportunity to enjoy as many Talks as you can squeeze into your busy schedule.

TED is an app that will truly enrich your life.

Once you download TED, you will be given several options to select and view the Talks.

My favorite is the option: INSPIRE ME

First, you choose the kind of Talk you would like to watch. Funny? Jaw-Dropping? Make a choice….

Then you get to tell TED how much time you have to watch. After selecting your time, TED will present you will a random set of Talks to match your criteria.

If you would rather make the choice yourself, you can choose from pages and pages of themes…

Or you can also choose Talks by topic tags…
