Although you can always find old posts through the categories on the right side of the blog screen, it can get a bit unwieldy when looking for “how to’s”.
To make it easier to find these instructional posts, there is a “How to” page at the top of the blog.
On this “how to” page you will find all of the “how to” posts listed by title and linked back into the blog.
Also sorted out on the top are “All Things Kindle”, “Very Beginner” and “iOS 7”.
To bring yourself back to the most recent post, just click on “sharechair” on the graphic (above) of the autumn tree lane.
hi
I!m new to the ipad and to your site. Lots of good info for a novice like me. Is it ok to ask questions here, or do you do it elsewhere on your site?
Thaks for all the good info/tips. I have bookmarked your site.
Ron
Hi, Ron, and Welcome! I’m happy to help in any way I can, but please remember, I’m just a person like you, enjoying my gadgets. You can ask, and I’ll always do my best, but I’m not a tech guru. Feel free to ask anyway you’d like… in the comments, or through the “contact me” section of the blog. Again, welcome!
Great blog – I love your simple “how to” approach for beginners like me!
Welcome! I hope you find some things that are helpful for you. 🙂
Hey I just came about your blog, looks like we share a passion for all things tech! Great job!
We sure do. Thanks for visiting!
Just by chance came across your blog and this is exactly what I have been looking for. I’m new to the iPad but not computing. Just not very bright ! I know this will be a great help to me so consider yourself “bookmarked”
Thanks much !
Bob
Welcome, Bob! The iPad is really easy to use, and I’m sure you’ll have the hang of it in no time at all. I hope you can find lots of things here to help you on your way. So glad you’re here!
Live this blog. It has helped me to understand new changes to iOS7.
Thank you so much! I’m delighted that you find it helpful. Thank you for being here. 🙂
Hi all my books have been moved to the Archived items on my Kindle and I can’t read them. I can see them on iCloud. I can’t ‘add to home’ – it says “your download was not successful. Please try again.” Do you have any suggestions as to how I can move my books back to a place on the Kindle where I can read em? Many thanks, Adrienne
Depending on your Kindle, you need only touch the archived book or click on it to download it to your Kindle. Did you check on your internet connection? Do you have a wifi or 3G model Kindle? Make sure that your connection is turned on. If you know you are connected through wifi or 3G, and the books still don’t download, I would call Amazon support. They answer FAST and are always extremely helpful. I guarantee they will solve your problem. 🙂
Thanks very much I will – I tried to download a free book, just to test if it would download and it also went straight to my Archived items with the same unsuccessful download message.
Very odd. I’ll be interested to know how Amazon solves your problem. Good luck! 🙂
Hi problem solved in the simplest way possible by powering off for 20 seconds and re-starting. All done and dusted!
Hurray! I’ve found that magical re-start often takes care of iPhone and iPad ills, as well. So happy that you are fully functioning, once again!
